Daniel E. Rohe, Ph.D., ABPP(Rp)

Dr. Rohe is on the staff of the Mayo Clinic in the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology and an associate professor of psychology in the Mayo Medical School. He obtained both his diplomate in rehabilitation psychology and was elected a fellow of the American Psychological Association in 1997. He is the author of 16 peer-reviewed publications and six book chapters. Dr. Rohe's research has focused on personality and vocational interest patterns in males with traumatic spinal cord injury, as well as, chemical health and disability. He is best known for his seminal research that demonstrated that males with traumatic spinal cord injury demonstrate marked homogeneity in their interest patterns and that these patterns are stable despite onset of disability. He is a founding board member and current treasurer of the American Board of Rehabilitation Psychology. Dr. Rohe has been the American Psychological Association representative to the Consortium for Spinal Cord Medicine. He is a full time clinician on an inpatient rehabilitation unit specializing in the provision of psychological services to individuals with spinal cord injury and multiple sclerosis.
