The Northern Arizona VA Healthcare System is recruiting for three staff psychologist positions at GS 11, 12 or 13. One position is a new position working in our Extended Care Rehabilitation Center. This facility includes skilled nursing level of care, Physical Medicine Rehabilitation beds, a Dementia Special Care unit, Hospice beds and is undergoing “Cultural Change” to create a more homelike environment. Neuropsychological Assessment skills would be helpful.

The other 2 positions are in the Mental Health Clinic. One of the positions is primarily intended to provide compensation and pension examinations, although other duties will be assigned as well.  The other position is intended to provide psychological assessment and treatment as required by patients in the Mental Health Clinic.

All positions are at the main campus in sunny Prescott, Arizona.  At 5300 feet Prescott enjoys a moderate climate and is near the Grand Canyon, Sedona, and is 1 ½ hours from Phoenix, Arizona.
