Mary R. Hibbard, Ph.D. ABPP(Rp)

Dr. Hibbard earned her doctorate in counseling psychology from New York University, New York.  A fellow of Division 22, she is board certified in Rehabilitation Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) and serves as a board member and oral examiner for ABRP and trustee to the ABPP. Dr. Hibbard has authored over 100 peer review articles and book chapters,  and is an international and national presenter in the areas of traumatic brain injury, issues of community integration following disability and professional competencies in rehabilitation psychology.  Dr Hibbard has had an active role in teaching future professionals in the field and has served as training director of both APA predoctoral clinical internships and NIDRR funded post doctoral rehabilitation research fellowships.  She currently is Professor, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and Director of Psychology Services at Rusk Institute, New York University Langone Medical Center, New York. In her current position, she oversees a team of over 50 psychologists in both clinical and research activities across a wide diversity of disabilities and co-directors both the APA internship and post doctoral fellowship programs.
